WHO IS MARIA SIOSON?

Maria Sioson is an award-winning marketer, creator and educator based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

I've been creating content for 20+ years and was a part of the original wave of bloggers-turned-influencers with my beauty and food blog “BEAUTY AND A BITE”. I negotiated, closed brand deals and attended press trips before "influencers" became mainstream.

In the 2010's, my blog and passion project grew to become one of the top blogs in Toronto. Ultimately, I decided to go "all-in" on my corporate career instead of pursuing content creation full-time. For the past 15+ years, I've quietly grown some of the world’s top consumer brands. Currently, I lead marketing for one of the world’s largest vitamin manufacturers.

I was a photographer and blogger before I became a marketer. I have a keen eye for creativity, unique to someone who has been creating digital content since the 56k dial-up modem days of the internet.

Through my personal brand, I enjoy creating content around communications, media/culture, and personal growth. Also, I love food.

Outside of work, you’ll find me experimenting in the kitchen, discovering new restaurants and going on adventures with my family of four and two dogs.
