I love a stay-cation and Prince Edward County is a destination I’ve long had on my list of places to visit in Ontario. It’s just far enough from the city (2 hour drive) and because we went in the fall, we got to enjoy the beautiful autumn foliage.

We were actually staying at the mobile part of the hotel, a first for us!

BEACHFRONT VIEWS

I couldn't believe this was in Ontario

Since we went in the fall (off-season), there weren't huge crowds. We had privacy and could fully enjoy the grounds and amenities!

wine & dine

We enjoyed the restaurant overlooking the lake. Overall the restaurant had a great vibe, food was great, drinks were even better. The photo below is the view from the dining room. Perfection.

They have seasonal amenities, depending on when you visit, so it may be different for you.

AMENITIES

Since we stayed in the "motor inn" part of the property, there is a short walk to the main hotel to access most of the amenities and activities.

It was our first time in Prince Edward County and on a hunt for cheap/free and fun ways to spend quality time, we came across this free art gallery located in a winery.

FINAL THOUGHTS

We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s a beautiful place, so quiet and a perfect spot to reconnect and spend quality time together without deadlines and screaming children. I highly recommend this spot (or area in general) if you are looking for a staycation destination within Ontario. Feel free to ask me questions in the comments.
