Last night was the launch party for the ’Rôses by…20 artists for a rose’ Exhibition for Luminato, happening at First Canadian Place. Like I said in a previous blog post, it features 20 world-renowned photographers and their interpretation of the iconic Lancôme rose.

Here are some snapshots of the night:

My faves:

by Dusan Reljin

by Josh Olins

by Chen Man (In LOVE with this)

Last but not least, by one of my personal favourite photographers, Patrick Demarchelier.

Some photobooth fun with @KBDS + @LaisieTu – I was so happy to see these girls!

The second Lancome exhibit is 20 Bloggers for a Rose featuring 20 of Canada’s top Lifestyle + Beauty bloggers (including me! Weee!) You can access the virtual gallery at David Pecault Square by downloading the app.

I thought I’d share my photo with you + my inspiration behind the rose.

“To me, the rose represents life. It can be beautiful and epic, but only when you acknowledge, accept and learn from the thorns.”

“Roses by…” at First Canadian Place, 100 King Street West, Toronto
“20 Bloggers for a Rose” at 55 John Street, Toronto

Hope you enjoyed this! Let me know if you plan on dropping by either of the exhibits, or if there are any other pieces of work you’re excited to see at Luminato. Or if you’ve already seen them, which one was your favourite?
