I have been obsessed with these Glossy Stains for months! And when I found myself reaching for this one (#12) on Valentine’s Day, I thought it was about time for a review. This shade is perfect for spring/summer – keep reading and I’ll tell you why!

The packaging is A+ (big fan of YSL’s packaging on most of their products).  It looks really pink in the packaging, but you’ll see it’s a bit more orange/coral. (I’ve got a weakness for coral lips!)

I especially love the way the tip is shaped – you can’t tell from the photo, but it is angled and pointed. Makes for perfect application every time.

The colour pay-off is really great – this is not for you if you like sheer lip products. Even with just one coat, your lips will look more vibrant. The texture honestly feels like magic on your lips – it’s a lip stain so it lasts pretty long but it is also very glossy. One thing I love about it? It’s not sticky like most lipglosses and it doesn’t slide off your lips. This baby stays put!

Lighting shots!

This is how I usually wear it – perfect for a simple face with a pop of colour.

This product is highly recommended because of the colour pay off, consistency and overall quality. One downside to it is that it’s a small bottle at 0.20 oz and runs at $36. So depending on your budget, it may not be for you. I would highly recommend this as a “special occasion” lip product but may be too pricey to be your everyday lippy!

Rating: 4/5
Cost/Where to buy: $36 at Sephora (where I got mine)
Repurchase? Yes, but to try different shades.
